Terence M. O'Keefe
Before Terence M. O’Keefe attended Loyola Marymount University, he studied screenwriting at the famed Sherwood Oaks Experimental College under Robert Mundy and attended writing seminars with the equally famous Syd Field, author of Screenplay: The Foundation of screenwriting. While pursuing his M.F.A. Degree in film productions at Loyola Marymount University, he wrote the screenplay Wanted, which was a finalist in the Motion Picture Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting and went on to be produced as a Showtime Original feature, which he also directed.
More recently Mr. O’Keefe worked with Bill Mechanic (Titanic, Hacksaw Ridge, former CEO of Fox Studios) developing his script Dragon & Phoenix, which was shot in China and starred Orlando Bloom. His screenplay Dead of Night: A Killing Moon won Best Screenplay from the International Screenplay Association Awards.
After thirty years in the film business as an award-winning filmmaker, O’Keefe is now concentrating on a career as a published author, writing novels in many genres such as: Sci Fi, action, horror, fantasy, young adult, children’s books, and poetry.
